DEER COLLISION WARNING

#RoadSafety | Over the last three weeks, 13 fawns have been killed by vehicles on local roads. 

We are urging all motorists to take extra care, particularly when travelling through areas where deer are known to be present, including Cannock Chase and Norton Canes.

Young deer can be unpredictable and may suddenly run into the road, often following other deer. By reducing your speed and staying alert, you can help protect our local wildlife and prevent collisions that could also put motorists and passengers at risk.

⚠️ Be especially vigilant during dawn and dusk when deer are most active.
⚠️ Watch for deer warning signs.
⚠️ If you see one deer, expect others nearby.
